Finland next for Loogup?
As previously reported, Loogup was on of the final 15 companies in the Arctic15 Funding Program. The funding program is a program for early stage startups to be funded and culminated in Helsinki on June 5-6 during the Arctic15 conference.
Randy Cottin, CEO and founder of Loogup, participated in the conference and had a clear focus during his stay in Helsinki.
“My goal was mainly to learn about the local market so I’ve been talking heavily to people”, Randy Cottin says.
Ready in 15 days
Loogup has developed an AI-powered real estate platform that helps homebuyers make smarter decisions and connect to the right lender. The platform has been released in Sweden and to enter new markets is not complicated from a technical perspective.
“It will just take us 15 days to index all the properties. The question if Finland is our next market depend more on the business model side, which banks we can address first” Randy Cottin explaines.
Reassures that the mission is right
Even if Loogup wasn’t the final winner in the Arctic15 Program, the fact that they were selected has been a huge boost for the company.
“Being part of the Top15 startups for the Nordics and Baltics in this year Arctic15 is a very humbling and exciting experience. In a way, it reassures that our mission of helping first time homebuyers find and afford their first property is a real need not only in Sweden but also in the whole world. We are now more committed than ever to make our dream come true and give Millennials an edge in the homebuying process” Randy Cottin says.
